    — Snap a picture of the item you wish to insure.
    — Pay a standard insurance premium for full insurance cover.
    — All the premium paid goes straight into your Pineapple wallet.
    — Wallets help pay for the claims of all community members. And their wallets pay for your claims.
    — All funds left over in your wallet can be withdrawn after a cool-down period.
    — We take a fixed fee to administer the system and to pay for “reinsurance” so claims are paid even if wallets run out.
    — You can connect to those you trust to gradually protect your wallet from the claims of strangers.

    We know it can be quite tedious when being asked to submit additional images of requested information with every new claim you submit. So now, we've added the ability to attach this information directly to your asset when you insure it. For certain items which we know beforehand that certain information will be required when claiming on it, we will let you know so that you can attach it to your item as you insure it, ensuring you a much smoother claims process!
