Great news! We’ve officially unlocked the B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level! If you've been cruising through the lower levels thinking, “Is it just me, or is this getting a little too easy?” – you’re ready. Challenge accepted.

For now, B2 is available in our General English course only. So if that’s your current path, you’re in luck – you’ll start seeing more advanced content designed to match your skills and keep you moving forward.

And there’s more.

We’ve just released the first six video lessons in our English to American Sign Language (ASL) course. You’ll learn how to ask Wh-questions and discover job signs like teacher, programmer, athlete, artist, and more.

This is just the beginning! More ASL videos are on the way, so stay tuned.

We’ve got some fresh updates hot off the press, and we think you’re going to love what’s new.

First up: speaking lessons just got a whole lot easier to follow. Ever been mid-conversation with our AI and thought, “Wait… what did you just say?” Now, with our new translation feature, you can tap to reveal the prompt in your native language. No more guessing games (unless you're into that sort of thing).

Also, we’ve officially unlocked the B2 level. If you've been cruising through the lower levels thinking, “Is it just me, or is this getting a little too easy?” – you’re ready. Challenge accepted.

And because we know reading is a secret language-learning superpower, we’ve added new books to our General English library. There's a gripping mystery ("Knife in the Heart" for A2 learners), a bit of Shakespeare ("King Lear" at B1 – don’t worry, we made it understandable), some swoon-worthy romance ("Far from the Madding Crowd", also B1), and a sci-fi story that might just blow your mind ("The Machine Stops. Part I" – C1 students, rejoice). Yes, all in English. Yes, you'll be surprised how much you understand.

In the General English course, there are new Easter lessons across all levels as well. Explore themed vocabulary, idioms with the word “egg,” and cultural traditions through fun videos and shadowing practice. You’ll even learn why there are egg races on the White House lawn.

Fresh updates are here!

First, we’ve made the Tutors tab for one-on-one lessons much easier to use. Now, you can easily check your upcoming and past lessons, reschedule or cancel with just a few taps, and buy more lessons whenever you’re ready – all in one place.

We’re also introducing Streaks to keep you motivated. Complete a lesson every day, and watch your streak grow! Miss a day, and it resets – but don’t worry, you can always start fresh. You’ll see your streak progress on the My Plan and For You tabs, and after each lesson, we’ll show you a fun screen to celebrate your progress.

And there’s even more – we’ve added tons of new content to help you level up your skills.

For those learning Ukrainian, we’ve added 57 new vocabulary lessons covering everything from travel (think airport phrases) to food (like ordering at a restaurant), hobbies (talking about your favorite sports), numbers, and more.

If you’re learning German, we’ve rolled out new vocabulary and grammar lessons, plus AI role-play speaking exercises where you can practice real-life conversations, like asking for directions or ordering food at a café.

For English learners, we’ve introduced 13 Common Mistakes lessons (like “lively” vs. “alive”) and six new videos on commonly mispronounced words (like “aluminum” vs. “aluminium”) to help you sound even more fluent.

This month, we’re celebrating Women’s Rights Month. We’ve created lessons on gender equality, human rights, and the inspiring story behind International Women’s Day. Plus, if you’re using Role-Play Speaking, we’ve made it easier to find your lessons and track your progress.
