The LinzMobil app provides

- all in one app!

Registration is only required for purchasing personalised tickets.

° Departures & interactive map:
The departure screen including a map of your surroundings lists the next departures from stops in your area or any requested stop. You can select either public means of transport or other mobility services like ‘AST’ (ride share taxi services) and ‘tim’ (e-)carsharing as well as city bike Linz stations.

° Routing:
Planning your journeys with LinzMobil is easy: simply type in a destination or mark a location on the map. With active GPS your current location is automatically assumed as the starting point of your journey. In case this is not your desired place of departure, you can type in any other address or stop. Your current location, any stop or any address can be selected as starting point or destination.

° Tickets:
The LinzMobil app includes time tickets for 1 hour and 24 hours, tickets for short and long journeys, weekly and monthly tickets and tickets for the Pöstlingbergbahn. The MEGA-Ticket Studierende (semester ticket for students), the Freizeit-Ticket OÖ and OÖVV single and daily fares for routes in Upper Austria are available as well.

Registration is required for purchasing tickets.

On the map & departure screen, you can find a link to our partner app FAIRTIQ. There you can purchase tickets for LINZ AG LINIEN up to our 24h ticket via check-in/check-out ticketing. It requires to download the FAIRTIQ app and set up an account at FAIRTIQ.

° Mobility services
In addition to the LINZ AG LINIEN public transport services, LinzMobil provides further mobility services like information about ‘tim’ (e-)carsharing, ‘AST’ (ride share taxi services), conventional taxi services, SIXT car rental and electric vehicle charging stations.
‘AST’ and ‘tim’ locations are marked as POI on the map. They can be selected as starting point or destination of your journey. The city bike POI show you the number of available bikes at the selected station and forward you to the booking.

° Favourites
You can create a list of personal favourites by marking stops or addresses with a star. These favourite locations will be displayed at the top of your list of suggestions when typing in a starting point or destination.

° News feature
You can find the latest news in the menu. Allow the notifications and do not miss any news from now on.

° Settings & filters:
By selecting filters (modal choice) and determining personal settings (e.g. number of transfers or sorting the route recommendations by arrival, departure, duration etc.), you can organise and request your information and routes according to your preferences. This will speed up your search processes.

° Mobility services
In addition to the LINZ AG LINIEN public transport services, LinzMobil provides further mobility services like information about ‘tim’ (e-)carsharing, ‘AST’ (ride share taxi services), conventional taxi services, SIXT car rental and electric vehicle charging stations.
‘AST’ and ‘tim’ locations are marked as POI on the map. They include further information and can be selected as starting point or destination of your journey.

° Favourites
You can create a list of personal favourites by marking stops or addresses with a star. These favourite locations will be displayed at the top of your list of suggestions when typing in a starting point or destination.

° Settings & filters:
By selecting filters (modal choice) and determining personal settings (e.g. number of transfers or sorting the route recommendations by arrival, departure, duration etc.), you can organise and request your information and routes according to your preferences. This will speed up your search processes.
