    The app can now estimate and record energy expenditure (active and total calories) during workouts. For calculations, the app will need your birth date, height, weight, and sex. If you use an Apple Watch, the app will take calorie expenditure data from there.

    If you have started a workout using a routine, you can now filter the history of a particular exercise from this workout so that only workouts with the same routine are displayed.

    The exercises library has been expanded with new exercises, mainly for the home gym (TRX, resistance band, kettlebell, and landmine exercises).

    You can now merge custom exercises with library exercises. Suppose you created a custom exercise, and later, the same exercise appeared in the library. In that case, you can merge your custom exercise with this exercise if they have the same set of parameters (for example, Weight and Reps), which means that the library exercise will replace the custom exercise in all routines and workouts.

    A tiny usability improvement in the Apple Watch app: now, when editing set parameters (weight, reps, etc.), you can fill in empty parameters with data from the "Previous" set by long pressing on any edit field - so everything works the same way as the button in the "Previous" column in the iPhone app.

    For exercises where time is a parameter (Plank, for instance), in the exercise settings, you can now specify if the time is fixed (i.e., known in advance). If so, before starting the set, you will have to enter the target time, and after you launch the set, you will see the countdown timer. The set will finish automatically when the timer is over.

    Improved live sync between watch and phone app: when you launch the timer or metronome on the watch, this will also open the corresponding screen on the phone, so the phone acts as an "external monitor" - this can be useful, for example, when you need to maintain some tempo but can't see the wrist with the watch.

    You can now add marks to exercises in workouts. These are pictograms (increase weight / decrease weight / pay attention to technique) you can add to exercises in a workout that will appear the next time you work out using the same workout routine. The idea is that this is a super-short note and instruction for the next workout - on the left are the marks made during the previous training session, and on the right are the current marks.

    You can now use a calculator for the Stepmill exercise to get the distance and elevation based on the number of floors climbed and equipment parameters (in case you prefer to record not Floors but Distance in this exercise).
