APP FEATURES

- Noise Cancelling
Eliminates background noise for an unspoiled hearing experience.

- Voice Boost.
Voice Boost enhances sound intelligibility by using advanced audiology formulas: NAL-R, Pogo, Berger or Half Gain rule. We recommend trying the different formulas to find out which one works best for you.
It performs optimally with your audiogram and we suggest taking SoundsGood Pure Tone test or importing your audiogram if you already have one.
Voice Boost also encompasses a compressor that rebalances loud and weak sounds.

- Audiogram
SoundsGood integrates with Apple Health app.
There are three ways to enter your audiogram:
- Import it from the Apple Health app
- Take SoundsGood Pure Tone hearing test
- Input it manually by moving the dots on the audiogram chart
Your audiogram will then be used to smartly adjust the sound.

- Pure Tone hearing test
SoundsGood offers a Pure Tone hearing test to create your audiogram. The hearing test will ask you for each frequency to confirm whether you can hear a sound. You can then save the audiogram in the Health app.
Please keep in mind that the audiogram is only indicative, and you should consult a professional to get a precise analysis of your hearing.

- Speech to text
Using some of the most advance technology, get live transcripts of your conversations on the screen of your phone in the language of your choice. 50 languages are available online and 10 offline. You can do as many online and offline transcriptions but online are currently limited to 1 minute each.
This feature will simply allow you to have a look at what was said if you missed something.

- Recording
Record and save conversations for later. Can be used in the background.

- Saving Recordings and Transcripts

- AI features (in development – April/May 21 release)
Using Recurrent Neural Network techniques, training the app to isolate the voice of your loved ones. This technique will also be used to suppress more accurately background noise.

- Right and Left balance (R & L)
Allows to increase the sound more on one ear than the other.

The phone being the microphone, the app works best when the phone is directed towards the sound you are trying to hear. Typical use cases would be a meal with other people, watching a play, a movie.

To get the best results out of the app we recommend using noise cancelling headphones. Bluetooth headphones, because of slowness coming from Bluetooth can sometimes show a lag between the sound coming from the headphones and direct sound.
