Alarmi is a mobile alarm system for your pocket with which you can protect your iPhone and many other things from theft or unauthorized access.

Alarmi is ready for use in just a few moments and can be used whenever a conventional, permanently installed alarm system is too inflexible, too complicated or too expensive for you.

This is what Alarmi can do:
> detects movements and noises

Here's how you use Alarmi (some examples).

# ON THE BEACH
Beach idyll with towel, umbrella and lots of sand: But who will keep an eye on your phone, your car keys or your wallet when you go swimming?

Put your iPhone in your beach bag along with your valuables. When you go swimming, lock your iPhone. If your beach bag moves and your iPhone is not unlocked, the iPhone will generate a very loud and distinctive alarm sound. The alarm sound can only be turned off by unlocking your iPhone. You will also receive a notification on your Apple Watch or on a second iPhone.

# ON THE MOVE (e.g. sightseeing, shopping).
Alarmi can watch your purse or photo gear. As soon as your photo backpack or handbag moves away from you, you will receive a notification on your Apple Watch. An alert sound will be played on the (remote) iPhone or a voice message you pre-defined will be played. The location of your luggage is continuously recorded.

# HOTEL OR VACATION RENTAL.
Want to know if someone is in your hotel room or vacation home? Activate the noise monitoring! As soon as someone is in the room, iPhone will sound an alarm and send a notification to all devices linked to your Apple ID.

# IN YOUR CAR
Your beloved YoungTimer is 30 years old and doesn't have an immobilizer or alarm system?

Maybe you still have an older iPhone in the drawer (Alarmi works with iOS14 or newer and iPhone 6s or newer). Your alarm starts when you leave the vehicle (with Apple Watch) or lock the iPhone. When the vehicle moves or sounds are detected in the vehicle, you will receive a notification on your Apple Watch or other iOS device linked to your Apple ID.

# IN THE MOTORHOME OR CARAVAN.
Renting a mobile home without intrusion protection? Or you have an older camper for which the purchase of a professional and expensive alarm system is not worth it?

The theft and burglary protection for mobile homes and caravans works similarly to the "# IN YOUR VEHICLE" application example described above. For mobile homes or caravans, however, it is advisable to use another battery-powered alarm. Alarmi can be connected to a radio-controlled Bluetooth relay for this purpose. With this relay you can control sirens or signal lamps. For motorhomes, you can even cut off the fuel supply for a simple immobilizer.

Compatible Bluetooth relays and alarm sirens can be found on Amazon for a few euros (a list of compatible models can be found in the app settings under the menu item "Information on compatible relays").

NOTE:
If you want to receive an alarm notification on another device, the second device (Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad) must have an internet connection and the same Apple ID as the alarming device! To receive alarm notification on iOS devices, download the additional app "Alarmi Client" from the App Store.

"Alarmi" is a small, easy-to-use alarm app that guards your valuables. Alarmi detects movement, generates an alarm sound, and sends you a notification on your Apple Watch.

You can use "Alarmi" with or without an Apple Watch:

- IF YOU HAVE AN Apple Watch:
As soon as you move away from your iPhone with your Apple Watch (example: your iPhone is on the beach lounger and you go swimming), the motion sensors in the iPhone are automatically activated. As soon as the iPhone detects movement (the sensitivity is adjustable), a shrill (and if you want very loud) alarm sound is played on the iPhone. The iPhones location will be stored in your iCloud account and via your Apple Watch you will receive a notification about the alarm.

- IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN Apple Watch:
The app works completely in the background. Once you exit "Alarmi" and your iPhone is locked, after 10 seconds the motion sensor will be activated. The GPS system works with a low accuracy at this time to save your battery. As soon as "Alarmi" registers movements (the sensitivity is adjustable) the accuracy of the GPS system will be increased, the coordinate will be stored in your iCloud and a distinctive (if necessary very loud) alarm sound will be played.

NOTE 1:
If you want to use your Apple Watch to automatically activate / deactivate monitoring, you need to pair the iPhone app with the Watch app once. To do this, select the "Pairing icon" in the upper left corner of the iPhone and then "Use with Apple Watch". Start "Alarmi" on the Apple Watch you want to use. The Apple Watch will now be detected automatically. Then confirm the selection with the blue button "Use Alarmi with this Apple Watch".

NOTE 2:
The Apple Watch app included in the iPhone app is a so-called "Independent Watch App". This means that it works completely independently of your iPhone. To receive alarm messages, the Apple Watch does not need radio contact with your iPhone and can therefore be located at a great distance from the iPhone. However, in this case, an Apple Watch with Cellular chip and activated eSim is required.

NOTE 3:
Data security: communication between your iPhone and Apple Watch is done through your iCloud account. So your iPhone and Apple Watch must be logged into iCloud with an identical Apple ID and "iCloud Drive" must be enabled in the settings. If communication between iPhone and Apple Watch is not possible, you will receive a notice to fix the error. Since the data is stored encrypted in a private area of your iCloud account, no one but you will have access to the location data. No data is transferred or stored to any other location. You can delete location data stored in your iCloud account in the Apple Watch app. In this case, the location data generated by "Alarmi" will be completely deleted.
