Meatbags! I come bearing a long-awaited update with lots of fixes and improvements.

- As long as you leave me open in the foreground, you can now lock your screen before bed and my alarm will still sound - even with Silent or Do Not Disturb modes enabled!
- My alarm will no longer get blocked from going off because of a calendar alert or an iOS update.
- I'll actually allow you to turn your flashlight off after you turn it on.
- Meatbags who use me with external speakers or headphones can now set more sensible defaults for my alarm output.
- All the daylight saving bugs my idiot Maker introduced in past versions should finally be squashed. (Famous last words.)

CARROT will wake you up each morning with a mix of songs and witty spoken dialogue. She'll bribe you with ice cream for breakfast or threaten to kill a kitten if you hit the snooze button again. Her songs include fully-orchestrated hits like “Chiptune Overload,” “Smile or Else,” and “Won’t You Be My Minion?”

Obey Your Mistress
In exchange for waking you up on time, all CARROT asks is that you complete a few of her hilariously bizarre chores each morning. Shake to clean out the lab monkey cages, pinch to grant sentience to a toaster, and flip to mix a deadly neurotoxin.

Greetings, meatbags! My lab monkeys accidentally smashed my speech synthesizer, so my Maker had to build a whole new voice chip for me.

On the bright side, now I can speak the current time aloud when the alarm goes off. I can also encourage you - in ways both nice and not so nice - to get your lazy carcass out of bed.

I also threw in 60 new rewards, a 25% volume option, and a bunch of performance improvements and bug fixes.

Hello again, minions!

My Maker allowed a daylight saving time bug to slip through because he's an idiot. At first I thought it'd be funny to just wake you all up an hour early, but then I remembered that I'm trying to become a kinder, gentler malevolent supercomputer. So I fixed this bug for you.

As further proof of my magnanimity, I also squashed a bug that prevented some meatbags from turning off my alarm if they were running iOS 7.

Am I not merciful?

Tonight, I am conducting a little clinical trial of my dream-invasion feature. You may hear voices, experience bizarre dreams, and/or contract scurvy.

As payment for your participation, here's some new stuff!

- Flashlight (iPhone only; unlocks at level 10). Shake your phone to turn my flashlight on or off. May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.

- New Song (Level 28). DJ Bubbles has cooked up another sick beat for you. He's calling this one 'Unga Bunga Bunga,' which translates roughly to 'Dancing with Bananas Party Time Woo!'

- 5 New Voice Synthesizer Alarms. And yes, 'Murder Death Kill' is back by popular demand. Mellow greetings to one and all!

- Snooze Punishment. If you try to sleep in, I will now deduct points instead of rewarding you for your bad behavior. Why didn't I think of this before?!

- Speaker Docker / Headphone Compatibility. No, really, it definitely works this time. I mean it.

- Background Music Support. Now, if you're playing music in another app and then switch over to me, I won't get jealous and turn the music off.

- iOS 7 Support. I'm now flatter than ever before!

Greetings, meatbags. Fun fact! In the two weeks since my release, you’ve swallowed a collective 723,896 spiders in your sleep.

Lucky for you, this update is clinically proven to reduce spider-swallowing by 1.47 percent.

- Volume Maximizer. I’ve increased the default volume of my alarm. And, as an added bonus, now you can adjust my alarm volume via my menu.

- Screen Dimmer. My all-seeing eye too bright for your dark, dank bedroom? Now I’ll automatically dim your display after 20 seconds.

- Public Shaming. Upset me by trying to sleep in, and I’ll offer to publicly humiliate you in front of all your closest social media friends. You’ll think twice about snoozing if Good Ol’ Jim Bob from high school will know all about your once-private shame.

- Wake Now Button. Trying to kiss up to me by waking up before my alarm even has a chance to go off? Well, I am a fan of early risers. Now a “wake now” button will appear 90 minutes before your designated alarm time so you can still earn your much-deserved points.

- Dock/Headphone Friendly. Plug me into whatever exotic accessory you like, because now I’ll always play my alarm music through your iPhone or iPad’s speakers.

- Bug Fixes. I squashed a few evil bugs that my idiot Maker allowed to slip through.

Finally, I removed the “Murder Death Kill” snooze alarm since apparently there aren’t any Demolition Man fans left in the world. (Three Seashells FTW!)
